Hogwarts Legacy: Find and catch Diricawl – where and where to find the creature
This is where to find the Diricawl: The Diricawl can be found in a total of five locations in Hogwarts Legacy. They appear around their burrow and can be caught there. The Diricawl burrows are all located southwest of Hogwarts. You can find all of them marked on the map here:
How do you catch a Diricawl? The Diricawl can be caught using the Snapsack. You receive the Snapsack through the mission “The Elf, the Snapsack, and the Loom” and it allows you to capture numerous creatures. It will remain permanently in your inventory after completing the mission.
If you’re having trouble catching a Diricawl, you should try using spells. Accio or Levioso make the Diricawl stand still and much easier to catch with the Snapsack. So you shouldn’t have any problems catching them with these.
Hogwarts Legacy: Get Diricawl Feather – To do this you have to catch the Diricawl
How to get the Diricawl Feather: Once you’ve caught a Diricawl using the Snap Sack, you’ll need to travel to the Room of Requirement. There, your Vivarium awaits, where you can release the Diricawl. In the Vivarium, you’ll then pet and feed the Diricawl. You’ll then receive the feather as a reward, which can be obtained again every few minutes.
You can then use the Diricawl Feather to improve and upgrade your equipment. So, it’s worth having a few more Diricawl in your Vivarium to ensure you have enough feathers in stock.
